Countryside Tourism and Horseback Riding

The Czech Republic is one of the countries with a long tradition of horse breeding, riding and horse racing. It can offer interesting horse breeds, hundreds of equestrian events, thrilling horse races and many places engaged in horseback-riding tourism. Over the last few years, the opportunities for agrotourism have improved significantly. When living in hamlets or country houses, you will taste homemade products and you will find the evening sessions by the fire with your friends and a guitar very romantic. Horseback riding has become more popular. Stables and riding halls organise rides for experienced riders at a number of places in the region, while beginners can take horseback riding lessons. Most of the agri-touristic centres can arrange a horse for you, or rent you their own horse.
