Memorial trees

In the Region there have been declared 279 * items as memorial trees, and groups of trees. Thanks to several long avenues, the actual number of protected trees in the Region is very high; according to a central list of protected trees it is 2711 trees.

Thanks to several long avenues, the actual number of protected trees in the Region is very high; according to a central list of protected trees it is 2711 trees. In fact, the number is less, estimated between 2500 - 2600 trees, because old avenues gradually thin out. For example, in "Alej Kilometrovka" in Pilsen the actual number of trees is 211 and not the reported 273.  Of these 2,500 trees there is 375 in the Pilsen Region individually or in groups of up to ten trees. We are interested primarily in these.
