The Lochotín Hermit

The alleged hermit was the knight Lochota, who, after losing his fortune, wife and daughter, took refuge in a cave near the town and began to use the healing spring there. Soon people began to come to him and ask for help with various ailments. When he died, numbers of birds used to flock to the hermitage.
